Years in Practice:

Catherine is a 5th-year School Psychology doctoral candidate at the University of Houston who has psychotherapy experience with children 7-19 (individual and group therapy) and psychological assessment experience with children 2-18 years old. She has worked with clients navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, suicidality, self-regulation difficulties, trauma, academic challenges, and developmental disorders such as ADHD and Autism. She utilizes an integrative approach to therapy, involving CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Humanistic Psychology, mindfulness and other techniques to ensure that the treatment plan is tailored to the person’s needs, challenges, and interests. Additionally, she has been teaching yoga to kids and adults for 8 years in schools, hospitals, yoga studios, and in private settings. Some of her personal favorite activities include dancing, learning something new, singing, spending time in nature, DJing, and curating events with her friends.
