Alyssa is a clinical psychologist and specializes in evidence based practices like CBT, ERP, and ACT in treating anxiety, OCD, and eating disorders. She is also trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), which allows her to better support families. She believes in a collaborative approach, personalizing treatment for each client's unique needs.
She loves this work because of how it can change clients’ lives. She enjoys helping those suffering with OCD, anxiety, or eating disorders re-engage with their community, reconnect with their sense of self, and find a healthier life.
Creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment is crucial to her practice. She provides empathy and validation, promoting a space where clients can be their genuine selves.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband and husky, Chloe, reading, baking, and exploring new coffee shops. And as a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, you can find her at most major sporting events!
