Ivy is a cognitive-behavioral therapist and your biggest cheerleader. She's honored to be part of your journey toward taking back control of your life.
Every day in her practice, she witnesses individuals and families doing the HARD things they once thought impossible. She creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to help sufferers improve their outlook and quality of life.
She specializes in anxiety and OCD, using evidence-based treatments like CBT, ERP, and the Comprehensive Behavioral (ComB) Treatment for Skin Picking and Hair Pulling Disorders. She also incorporates acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs. Her training in parent management techniques, such as Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT) and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), helps her support families effectively.
Outside of work, Ivy loves reading and writing; if she wasn’t a psychologist, she would be a novelist! She also enjoys volunteering, spending time with her two daughters, her husband, and her extended family (they're Puerto Rican, Nigerian, and Mexican — they have a lot of fun!).
