Cristina Boada, M.A. is a doctoral clinician and current 3rd year Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at the University of Houston, specializing in Neuropsychology. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of William & Mary in 2019, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2022.
For the past 5 years, Cristina has worked in multiple different clinical settings and with a wide variety of child, adolescent, and adult clients. She has experience with both treatment/intervention implementation and neuropsychological assessment. Cristina is passionate about working together with children and adolescents to improve their mental health, helping them overcome their challenges, and working with parents to address behavioral concerns in tandem with their child’s individual therapy. Cristina utilizes several evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral intervention & parent management training, exposure therapy for anxiety, and exposure and response prevention therapy for OCD and related disorders.
Outside of work, Cristina enjoys exploring new restaurants and activities around Houston and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys singing and playing piano!
